About

RISE – Research Infrastructure for Shared Enhancement is the University of Bari's network of laboratories, strategic infrastructures and integrated services. It gives businesses, researchers, institutions and local partners access to specialist expertise, advanced technologies and high-end scientific instrumentation.

Organised into five Thematic Hubs (plus one cross-cutting hub), RISE makes it easier to access the University's resources for applied research, testing, analysis, consultancy and the development of innovative projects, creating a meeting point between the university and the business community.

Each hub is identified by a distinctive colour: the Science & Technology Hub, the Agriculture & Veterinary Hub, the Bio-Health Hub, the Law & Economics Hub, the Humanities Hub and the Cross-cutting Digital Hub.

The map of instruments and services, with their locations, scientific leads and host departments, is organised around the thematic hubs and application areas, so that the resources available for open, shared use can be easily identified both within UniBa and beyond.

For more detailed information on access arrangements, please contact the scientific leads directly. To set up applied research projects and/or agreements on specific topics, please contact the thematic hub coordinators.
